How is Ovarian Cancer Diagnosed?
The following diagnostic tests are used for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer:
- Pelvic exam
- Blood tests- CA125 tests detect the presence of protein present on the surface of ovarian cancer cells.
- CT scan
Staging-After diagnosing the presence of cancer, your doctor will stage your cancer level, ranging from stage I to IV.
Treatment of Ovarian Cancer:
Depending on the type of cancer and the spread of cancer, the management differs.
Treatment of ovarian cancer usually involves surgery and surgery, followed by chemotherapy in advanced cases.
